Saw In Flames the other night........Bjorns tone !!!!!

Post by Norton666 »

Opening bands were not my cup of tea whatsoever. Ive always dug In Flames and I think Bjorn has one of the best live high gain tones ever. I tried my damndest but could not get a look at his road case. Saw the other guitarist was using Rectos and Bjorn had a 5153 cab sidestage , but I couldnt see his heads. Anyone seen them on this latest run who has had a visual on his gear ?

He used the OG 5150 every single time I've ever seen them live, but I haven't seen them in a few years

5153 is a safe bet

Every time I've ever seen any Swedish melodic death metal band live, Arch Enemy, In Flames, At the Gates, The Haunted, Amon Amarth, and maybe Soilwork, they always used 5150s, but I haven't seen any of these bands in a while. The one exception was when we played with Dark Tranquility they used Rectos.

I used to love in flames. Man they went downhill musically.... :(

guitar tones are still good though...
