But I also got her this:

"Thanks so much for buying this gig. I love the message you have chosen! I went to the battery farm this afternoon and Henrietta is out of her cage :) I will take a photo of her with your message tomorrow morning and send it to you.

Luckily I was able to save another hen as someone else also purchased the gig today, so Henrietta has a friend. They were both very baffled by their new surroundings, but it didn't take them long to start dust bathing and scratching around in the dirt."

A day later...

"Introducing...Henrietta. Here is a photo of her taken this morning with your message. As you can see she has very long nails from all her time standing on wire in the battery cage, but I will clip those in the next couple of days (after she has had a chance to settle in).

She hasn't lost too many feathers thank goodness, although as you will see she has a bald head. This is probably where the other girls in the cage have pecked at her. Those feathers should grow back with time.

Henrietta is fascinated by the sky and she keeps looking up at it. I guess it must be pretty overwhelming if you've always had a cage and a roof above your head.

Thanks again for buying this gig and saving Henrietta."

While not quite as epic as Sleewell's "gift" my wife handed me a GC gift card which I just now converted into a new (used) 2x12!

My ol lady just got me some chocolate I have a penchant for dark chocolate. I'll even eat baker's chocolate (not really sweet at all lol) . She's not big into holidays. (niether am I).

Peavey slant vertical 212 MC. The "MC" means that it comes with Celestion G12T -75 speakers. I am not a fan of Peavey but this cab totally rocks and I would pay more for just the speakers. :thu:

Nah, I will always hate Peavey (it's in my blood) but these cabs are pretty much the best vertical 2x12 I have ever seen.

I found they made a HUGE improvement over the stock emi speaker in the jet city stuff. Amp sounded right at home through them.
