Yeah...the first year they did not do an FX loop. But they apparently were forced to change the design very early on and remove the tube/ss rectifier switching system, which then created enough room to do an FX loop on newer revisions. Everybody seems to think the first year ones without the loop sound better. I can't compare the two, but it does sound fucking awesome.
