Hey, my dad used to work at a pizza place so I should be able to get hired at any five star restaurant as a chef any time I want. I mean, clearly, dues have been paid since I'm related to a dude that's made some pizza and shit.

i think it happened already, if my comprehension is correct. so his cousin has already married fieldy (and is probably responsible for the ghey facepaint on the recent GC catalog), but as the loser in the ad has no band, no "family connections" have been made.

Well, searching on his phone number yields a hit. Good to know he's keepin' it real while waiting for his big break: http://www.angieslist.com/companylist/u ... 226108.htm

But wives being wives, she'll force Fieldly to give the guy a job as a roadie.

"But Sandra, I don't want to take Nate out on tour..."

"He's family - you have to help him..."

Then the band ends up ditching Nate somewhere in Iowa....

forcing nate to reevaluate his priorities, perhaps considering that maybe you cant rely on namedropping to get you through....and then he was reminded of the tale of the loop....and bucked up and said to himself, "fine. be that way. ill still tell people i know you, and will become more famous and powerful than you can possibly imagine". steeling himself against the Iowan cold, he begins to walk the highway, a smoldering coal of rage and yearning for vengeance behind his bitter, frozen visage.

Yeah.

The dude in my class that arrived late (30 mins). Walked up for his presentation and said sorry, I'm still drunk from last night (turned 21). Asked for extra points as he was almost thrown out. Thrown out after his presentation.

Today.

Did he get a standing ovation? That's the type of performance that, at the very least, should register a polite clap.

No. But he got a good laugh.

I think some of us were embarrassed and the others in awe.
