I love me some Pandora, but I always have trouble easily finding a station that doesn't have me racing to "thumbs down" every third song. Well, I found one: I threw my phone on the handy speaker dock in my kitchen while I've been cleaning up, and told it to start from Celtic Frost.
It's been perfect! Tons of thrash, but with a stronger European representation than you would normally get - I've had Kreator and Destruction come up alongside Megadeth and Testament. Also some good early black metal - the obvious Hellhammer, along with Bathory and Venom. And a few Priest (a track from Sad Wings, no less!), Maiden, and Sabbath songs to fill out the cracks.
And the best thing is that I've been listening for an hour and a half, haven't heard a single bad song, and not a single Metallica song newer than the Black Album.
