Amp Cabinet Plug

Post by kaio-ken »

Hi everyone,

does anybody know what this plug is called?
It's on the backside of the Cabinet and it's supposed to connect the amps head with the cabinet.

Thank you,

Cheers

It's a very old 2 pin XLR jack. It's been out of production since at least the 70s.

Remove it and replace it with a 1/4 inch jack since it will be impossible find cables for this, not to mention there is zero advantages to using this over a regular 1/4. It was phased out for good reason.
