Bruno Mars Strat

Post by GuitarBilly »

Mars is probably not a favorite here but I actually love his music. His strat looks really good and it's well spec'd (although 22 frets would've been nice)

From what I’ve read, Bruno Mars and his brother, who is the band’s drummer and director, run the tightest of ships, and it shows in the quality of their music. If anyone should have a Strat deal, it should be him.

Guitar looks sweet , and I think it would be hard to hate on Bruno even if his music isn’t one’s cup of tea

Can't believe nobody's posted the puke emoji over the gold hardware though. I dig it, but I thought that was a big no-no around here.

Yeah I'm not adamantly against gold hardware. It works with some finishes. I think it looks fine here.

That looks fucking cool and finished in Nitro? Fuck yeah, this is the best Sig model I've seen to date.

Not bad at all. I really want to build a relic’d shell pink Super Strat with a recessed Floyd but I need to find someone to do the finish work.

The first nice guitar I ever played was my friend’s CBS era strat with the oversized headstock, playing it through a big muff, just making noise with it and having a blast..so yah I’d be down with this strat 100%.

The finish looks very interesting. Wonder what the difference is between this new “heirloom” relic style and the old “closet classic”?

I like how they say the info on this guitar was "leaked". I don't know but that leak looks an awful lot like a press release to me.

I love the color. I would play that.

I could do without the gold hardware, but it's not a deal-breaker. If you described that guitar to me, I'd hate it. With pictures, I kind of dig it.

I don't own any of his music, but Bruno seems cool AF and is stupidly talented.
I Love the smell of nitrocellulose in the morning.

Man, ‘60s style headstock and a rosewood board would be my preference on this. Think that would look sweet.
