With my univibe search done, I am now going down the leslie rotary pedal hole. In the past I've owned the Line 6 roto machine (tone sucking, clunky switching), Danelectro Rocky Road (okay for what it is) and bought a Boss RT20 a while back. I bought that because Gilmour fans found they can get you the Pulse tour tone. They're discontinued, so I felt they'll go up in price and once they do, I'll sell it off. I got a V1 Strymon Lex, had a chance last night to play around with it. Sounds much better then all the other ones I've had and I like the smaller foot print of the V1. I even like the built in dirt on it. This weekend I'm going to hook it up in stereo with amps on each end of the room and really put it though some tests.
I like it a lot, stopped my search for vibes. I own a Fulltone Deja Vibe, JHS Unicorn, DLS Versa Vibe and Electrovibe before buying the Vibe Machine v3. I like the small footprint of it and the flexibility to dial in all the trimpots to the sound you're looking for, but honestly I found that the factory settings did sound the best. Out of all the ones I've owned and tried, I think the Vibe Machine also has the best sounding vibrato mode.
