NGD - Peavey Limited EXP

Post by Hipster Salad »

I have a soft spot for these guitars. Owned 2 in the past and regret getting rid of them. Found this at a pawn shop for $250 yesterday, which has been a bit lower than I've been tracking online lately. Even though "I wasn't planning on buying another guitar", I couldn't pass it up.

Neck is on the thin side but not Ibanez Wizard thin. For a 20-ish year old Korean(?) made guitar, it's in great shape. No cracks at the neck pocket. No sharp fret ends, no neck warpage, no neck wavyness down the board. Can't remember if my others were HSS or HH, but I much prefer this configuration. Body is comfortable. Trem system isn't bad. Pickups are ok to me, but honestly as long as they sound better than Duncan Designed garbage, I'm happy.

Might tune this down to D Standard so I can actually have some variety.

I dunno, I get giddy about good cheap shit lol.

That looks great. How's the tremolo?
I had a Predator with a 2-point Peavey trem that was surprisingly stable.
