Good afternoon,
After having no luck with the Helix sale, I decided to trade it at GC, along with my Strandberg 6, my Tech 21 VT Bass Deluxe, and my Ovation, none of which were being used regularly. I made enough to get a used Korg Prologue 16, a new Rødecaster II console/input/controller, and some cash. I could have cashed out, and taken the proceeds to get a fat tire bike, which, on the surface, would have been the better option. However, over $1000, which this was, and I imagine that GC policy would have been to give me a gift card, which I did not want.
But, let’s look at what the Korg will let me do: It’s a 16-voice analog synthesizer, so I can make electronic noises. The board will let me control my recording a bit better, and the cash will let me buy other things.
Sadly, I cannot provide pics, because the synth hasn’t shipped from California. And I can’t be bothered to show a Rødecaster II. And I’m not at home.
So, I won. To answer the question: Yes, but GC wasn’t about to let me.
Thank you.

The Prologue has a good control layout which I great if you are new to synthesis. Also, the 3rd oscillator in each voice is a programmable digital oscillator. You can look online and download different wave forms for it.

Not a fan of the Prologue?
Remember: I would have taken the full cash amount, if it had been available to me, but it wasn’t.

I took possession of the synthesizer today. I will be spending a lot of time with this thing, and I will make terrible noise.
It doesn’t have balanced XLR outputs, but my monitors allow 1/4” out, as well as XLR. If I had the sub, I’d still be able to get stereo out, but with some real bass. I have no complaints about the sound, but I think there are better ways to get a nicer sound.

Yeah most synths don't have XLR, but usually the outs are balanced TRS.
But I'd suggest getting DI boxes for your synths if you want to play them live.
On my electronic band, I was using a FA06 synth and Korg Volca for drums so I had a dbx DI-4 as a central point for all the synths so I didn't have multiple DI boxes scattered on the floor.
