Past Fx & NGD

Post by Elessar [Sly] »

So I have been enjoying the Past Fx Hot For Flanger & Past FX Chorus Ensemble for a little while (vids below). Very cool pedals, now with a permanent place on my board. The Chorus Ensemble is a CE-1 clone, and the Hot For Flanger is similar to the old MXR flangelicals.

Been a while since I posted a new guitar day as well, and I recently picked up a Musicman Axis Super Sport. The frets were severely warn in, so I ended up getting a re-fret done on it. Rather unicorn like finding these left handed in the UK (certainly used). I have to say the guitar I have gelled most with for a long time. I used it in the Chorus Ensemble I did as well.

I also have another NGD on the horizon, and am most exited. I have really been getting into playing guitar again over the last few months.

HNGD! I’ve been scoping out PastFx and their Elastic Mattress. It’s supposed to be a proper vintage accurate Electric Mistress clone and I’ve been wanting one to get my Gilmour/Summers on with.

Thanks for all the comments. I went off the boil for a while but I’m back on my guitar game now. I have to say I love the Musicman, I’ve bought a few guitars in the last year or so but this thing I have really gelled with.

The Past Fx stuff is classy.they’ve got a few things I’ve got my eyes on.
