Wrist bands...

Post by screamingdaisy »

Last night was humid, sticky shit and I'm tired of sticking to the finish on my bass.

I've never used them before. Are they just the ones sold at sporting goods stores? Or do is there some sort of special finish safe rockstar version?
If you can't play good, play loud.

When I was in a screamo band playing my LP I’d constantly tear my forearm up and started wearing one. Just get some off Amazon.

Man, I played a few outdoor shows where my forehead instantly turned into a waterfall as soon as I hit the first chord!
The sweat stung my eyes and blinded me making it impossible to play.
I used to laugh at the red headband that Mark Knophfer wore but, now, I bring a bandanna to every summer show.

My sweaty left hand also sticks the strings so, I have to grease up the strings with Fast Fret (mineral oil) before going on.
