So my name finally came up for a Cornish TB-83x treble booster. I did own one briefly a while back and thought it was just ok. But I got on the list months ago and kinda forgot about it, and would have felt a bit bad if I just passed on it. So I bought it. And here it is! My opinion is still the same, its just ok lol. While it sounds good, it just does not come close to a rangemaster type treble booster. The cornish reminds me more of a hornby skewes in a way, it just costs way more lol.
yeah I agree. It's a great sounding booster but I prefer the Rangemaster.
That said, it's a cool pedal to have, even if just for the "ohhhh" factor when people look at your board

yeah true lol. So far nothing beats a rangemaster. But I'm always wanting to try something different, although there are not too many variations when it comes to treble boosters.

Well, I'm probably gonna put it up for sale or trade so

yeah its pricey stuff, its better to just get on his list and buy direct rather than buy on the used market since ppl put them up for almost double what they paid.
Damn. You have very consistent impeccable tastes my friend
