I realize I’m potentially still in honeymoon stage with the PRS.. but for real these two are just like the best two wives you could have, and they aren’t jealous of each other at all…

Yeah I have no issues with either of these guitars. If I could only have 2 guitars and this is what I had, I'd be perfectly happy with it.

Yeah I could be happy with those two easily. That emerald PRS is hot.

My strat has a trem... but I rarely put the arm in
I've actually never owned a FR equiped guitar

Interesting that you posted this. I paired down my guitars a lot this year and am down to two electrics. LP and beater Ibby that is only a couch guitar. Just about to pull the trigger on one of the new 594 SE's and stay there for a while.
A couple years ago I massively downsized. Put everything on consignment except my Les Paul and Tele.... then went back and rescued my McCarty.
I love the PRS, particularly as a gigging guitar. I love that I can get LP-ish, Strat-ish and Tele-ish all in one guitar and don't have to swap guitars between songs.

Now I feel like I should edit my post for clarification. There an only be two... #1s. I have not downsized my collection at all
I have fully drank the PRS kool aid now tho one day I'll have a core Hollowbody II.... if my wallet ever allows for it lol

You need a CE-24 or 22. With the trem. The PRS tremolo might be my favorite trem system.

TBH s/h CE-24 GAS is what led me into this wormhole. Obviously I ended up with two not CE-24s
It would be nice to have a 24 fret guitar...

I don’t really use the top two frets on my S2 Cu24 often but it’s nice to have them. I do like what it does to the neck pickup’s position in relation to the bridge. It puts it a bit closer to the bridge and tightens up the tone. Makes it a bit SG like in that regard. The 22 fret models have their neck pickups spaced from the bridge more like a Les Paul. Thicker and fatter. Nothing wrong with either. Just cool differences.

This is a solid guitar collection man. All bases covered and they are all great instruments.

I'm not a shredder by any means, but there's an immense amount of noodling I do in my band and occasionally I find myself up there on the 22nd fret wishing I had a couple more

Thanks Billy
Pretty stoked and grateful on what I've been able to put together, especially the mad influx over the pasy year
