Still waiting for my DSL 100H. I will try your settings first. Just like how Endtimes settings were 95% of where I am on the 6505.Then a shootout and probably sell one. Lol.

Yeah EndTimes and Raf are the lords of the 6505.

I tend to prefer Marshalls buy honestly I miss having a 6505+ in my collection. They're such great amps and really affordable.
I've owned a lot of expensive amps and I honestly feel there is a sweet spot for price/performance, especially when it comes to used amps. Once you're in the $700-1000 range, there are some amps that are just flat-out great. DSL, 6505, Laney GH, Mesa F, Caliber etc are just no excuse amps that will hold their own in situation.
Anyway, I'm rambling

Thanks for checking the video out btw

That sounds stupid good. You using the Palmer and some IRs? Top shelf playing as well man. Sounds like you were having a lot of fun.

Agreed 100%. And I happen to really prefer the OG 6505 head or combo because they carry more of the Marshall vibe in the feel.

yep, the main goal is to have fun. Something to keep me busy between practices and gigs. No IRs or DI, it's just the cab in the room with everything going through the phone mic. I am really not trying to do anything pro quality with these videos. I just put the phone in a stand, press the "rec" button and whatever happens, happens

The OG 5150/6505 head is my favorite too. It’s one of the best rock and metal heads ever and for good reason. It can do great rock tones in spades but can easily go to savage brutality. Love those amps. I miss having one too and I’m gonna have one more in my stable.

Can get down with the ‘it happens and it happens’ type vibe.
Been doing that back and forth with a buddy of mine just to get us doing shit.
Stellar lines and playing sir. Enjoyed.
