Didn't Dave also have a B.C. Rich V at one point? I thought I remembered him playing a blue one way back in the day.

Yeah his Metallica and early Megadeth days were BC Rich Biches, Ironbirds and Warlocks.

The one iconic guitar you would have seen a lot of back in the day would be his Bich. It was originally a natural finish "hippy sandwich" with the dark (walnut) stringers, and he painted it black. That's the guitar you see in the Peace Sells video.
