I'm on a fuckin tone rampage!! Not really, just trying shit out lolol.
Mic'd the top 2 speakers in my Mesa cab, each with an M201, and went through these 3 amps...my cousin's 6505+ 112 (this amp is kinda jacked up, so meeeehhhhh...doesn't sound QUITE right, but it's close enough), Tom's Peter(s), and the Mark VII. Made a version with and without Ozone for each. I used my cousin's rebuilt Ibanez S540. Just installed some Duncan Mustaine Livewires in it yesterday, and I think it sounds great, but it is not super high output like I am used to, so kind of adjusting. Plus just having fun playing it.

So what did I learn from this? I need to follow Bill's lead and probably buy another 6505+ lol.

Re: MOAR CLIPS!!! Ozone vs Nozone
Listening now
Okay do after listening to all of them.
1- your riffs just lend themselves to the 6505/5150 tone. Like they were meant to be played with that tone. All the amps sound great in their own way. These are radically different amps so it's hard to pick the best one.
2- Oone is okay. When I listen to the clips at the same volume, I could take it or leave the ozone. It's not bad. But without it is just fine as well.
