As we all know Pete certainly can polish any turd. As for anything being branded with EVH and some stripes being a must have MEH..... So over it. 1977 called and want their Schwinn rattle can paint back. I am sure it's an amazing processor and you will buy it and flip it in lets say 2 weeks.

I couldn’t care less about evh’s gear.

If you’ve played roland rack delays in your rig, you get it.

Yeah exactly. It's a reissue of the SDE3000. In pedal format. By Boss. The EVH thing is not a deciding factor.
I don't even own any EVH gear.

And even if I flip in a few weeks, I guarantee I'll still have used it in more gigs than 90% of the forum. So there's that.

I'm guessing that this is just a stripped down version of the DD-500? That has the SDE sound in it, and is the one that I use, so other than looking cool and having more tweakable options without menu diving, wouldn't make sense for me.

No it is a different pedal altogether, the modulation part is completely different, the delays have different parameters, it has an effects loop, wet/dry/wet outs etc

The DD500 is great though.

all around the feature set on that pedal is pretty damn amazing..... I really love the offset feature so you can ensure your dual delays maintain their different times even when using the tap tempo... the ability to do the W/D/W is also pretty damn slick, though it's not a feature I see myself using... but it definitely makes that sort of configuration much easier to achieve now

Its funny, I've been looking at SDEs lately. But having to worry about transformers and all that shit was more hassle than I wanted.

This however, or a slightly reduced priced for less features, would be great.

Was tough not to spill the beans on this one. Should be checking it out in a few days. Kinda doubt it'll bump my RE-202.

Fact: Boss is KILLING it lately.

I mean Bill's laundry pile has more longevity than most of his gear, so it's not exactly an unfair comment

I always think I would love a delay like this until I get it and rememeber why I like pedals with hardy any switches or knobs.

That's the thing though. With this type of pedal, you spent some time initially setting up your tones and never touch the knobs again.

But yes I also love do basic analog delays.

I saw Pete's video @ 4 a.m. this morning and fell in love with that too. I'm not a EVH gear guy but the SDE3000 is fantastic and they got this right. That's an amazing delay. Congrats Bill. That's going to be really fun.

Yeah I am excited about it. I think I can replace both my delay and chorus pedals with this. So my DSL board will be the wah, boost and this pedal. Nice and simple.

I'm stoked on this pedal...if the chorus is strong enough, perfect Dean DeLeo routing as well.
