Re: Mesa-made Gibson amps
The amps Mesa has released since the merger have all been fantastic, I’m sure this will kick ass
Re: Mesa-made Gibson amps
Mesa only has to make the Recto to end all Rectos, they have the Mark, they have a great bass amp, but it’s a bitch to find, and now this, as far as having the amps go. They need pedal and rack-based preamps/DIs, to complete the set. Mesa, who never had the reputation of putting out shit, has really been unshittifying, of late.

Re: Mesa-made Gibson amps
This is great for Gibson and Mesa. Plus they have to be better than the Trace Failiott amps.

Not an amp I’m interested in but I fully support this

Re: Mesa-made Gibson amps
its cool that they are doing it.... and I know there are lots of people out there that think $1700 for a 20 watt combo is cool.... I'm not one of them lol....

Interesting, I've been wanting to get a low wattage combo for a while. I never buy my amps brand new, so I wouldn't buy one of these new anyway. I don't think the price is really too bad when you consider a Fender Deluxe reverb brand new will run $1600 and most people hate the speaker that's included and end up replacing that.

I agree. I've been looking for a low wattage combo too. I might consider this one. Preferably used but I could buy it new with the Sweetwater financing

That means there is hope for a lab series revitalization.
