Got my Christmas gifts from the family. Got this Catalinbread Tribute Drive. Drive pedal with an adjustable frequency boost/cut from 70Hz to 1.4KHz with +/- 12 dB of gain for the frequency. Gonna have some fun tweaking this one. Graphic is cool too. Wife did good I think.

I haven't tried this one yet but I lov every Catalinbread pedal I've played. They can't do no wrong.
Congrats man!! Merry Christmas!!

Thanks Bill! This thing is pretty cool. I put the mid shift around 700K and did a slight mid cut. Works great with the Vibrolux this way. It’s a cool drive pedal for sure on its own. Gets pretty gnarly. Now I gotta see how it works as a boost and stacking it.

That would be great for dialing in your rig to a specific room or tuning. Cool pedal. Merry Christmas man!

oh that looks cool... Catalinbread make killer pedals, is this more a boost or OD/Dist pedal?

I’d say more of a boost. It’s got enough range to do distortion but it likes an amp that’s at least pushing some volume. The frequency control is cool. Let’s you select which frequency you want to boost or cut which makes it super versatile. I think it sounds great. I need to try it with my Orange and Marshall-style amps. I’ve mainly used it with my Fender so far. I’ll try to get a microphone on it sooner than later.

interesting.... this might be a good fit on my board now.... been using a Klon clone for my low gain boosting and it's just not really working the way I want it to... the mids are in a place I don't like, at least with my SG.... will check out some demos... I see Amazon has them at $134 right now which is just short of $50 cheaper than if you buy from Catanlinbread direct

I’m pretty sure that’s where my wife bought mine as it was on my Amazon wishlist. Hard to beat at that price.

I really like this thing so far. I think I need to get their SFT pedal. I've been lusting after some old Keef/Ampeg type tones and I think that might sate that craving. The Stoner fuzz tones are just an added bonus.
