Mudhoney Rig Rundown

Post by GuitarBilly »

Mudhoney was the first proper "90s band" I got really into, so it is great to see this. I love their wall of fuzz sound. Pretty standard issue gear :)

Guitars:
'78 Les Paul Pro / '89 SG Special/ '04 Gibson Les Paul Classic 3 pickup / Jackson Star/ Endres Tele / Fernandes Rhoads/ ''74 Hohner MIJ strat/ 2 Partscasters

Amps:
Depends on when you ask. I got tired of constantly updating this section lol

Cabs
Marshall 1960A w V30s/ Seismic 2x12 w Redback and V30.

Will watch later. Mudhoney is the only truly great grunge band. Back in 88', Superfuzz/Big Muff was a game changer for me. It was something totally new and sideways.

I love them so much.

Mudhoney around? Not sure I would have guessed that! Lol. Can’t say I’m that big of fan. But as you mentioned they were late 80s/early 90s. I have an older brother who was also playing guitar at the time, and I was
Much more into metal and he was into the grunge thing happening. And certainly Mudhoney was one of
His faves, so I have some idea what they are and sound like. But still.., surprised they still around
