New Kemper Profiler Player

Kemper is coming out with a mini-modeler they call the player. $700 price point. Small enough to fit on a pedalboard and compete with some of Line6s offerings. Editor App supported, midi, effects blocks, full stereo outputs, USB interface ability. Kemper is still my favorite of the modeling options, and this looks like it could be a really nice direct/backup/home recording rig.

Yeah I just saw another thread about it.
It looks cool. And the price is alright. If I were to try modeling out again, I'd be more inclined to try this than the full version, which I had twice and it sounded good for digital, but not enough to justify that price tag. But this, at $700, is a lot more palatable.

You know, that thing is really cute! I'm super happy with my Quad Cortex, but I'd totally get that little thing.

Seems like they took out all the futzing from the original Kemper and refined it. I'd jump back in the Kemper realm for that.

Definitely interested in this because of price, size and the liquid profiling.

Perfect. I don't like touchscreens.

The form factor is great, but I guess I'm confused how you keep track of what profile you are currently on without a small screen displaying it?

Yeah I think you have to connect to Rig Manager to see which profiles you have loaded in it.
Then you pretty much have to memorize them when you're using it live.

I think their target audience are players who will be using 1-3 profiles in a live performance for clean, crunch and lead, for example.
I'd be in that category tbh.

In that context it should be fine to use the bank and preset lights to know where you are.

More advanced users would probably get at least the Stage version.
