Thank you for the welcome!
Currently my amp is a Peavy VYPR VIP1, but looking to switch up or add to and sure I'll look to this group for some advice.

FRESH MEAT!
Hiyah and welcome! Nice looking guitars. Hope you don't mind being razzed a bit. We've mellowed a lot over the years, but there's still a little den for a scum in all of us that seeps out from time to time. Like that scab that seems to leak a thick, nasty yellow fluid when you touch it.
And that's just the nice side of us.

Ha!! Thanks for the welcome - and yes, I can deal with a bit of S&V (big Star Wars fan actually lol).
First of all, I am a home player hack - I just have fun learning a playing songs I like, but not very good. The music I play varies a bit - a lot of STP, Soundgarden, AC-DC, Def Leppard, Rage, and other classic rock stuff. I have been working lately to get better with scales/shapes (theory in general) and playing more lead parts - definitely a work in progress and a lil frustrating at times
Update on amp/pedals: Been playing on a Peavy VYPR, but I just picked up a Marshal DSL40 and some used pedals - Boss Super Chorus and Ocean's 11 Reverb (only drawback on DSL is reverb isn't very fat and love messing around with a lot of delay settings).
Thanks again for the welcome and hope to learn a lot from the community.

BANT!
We don't accept no DSLs 'round these parts!
I own two DSL20CRs, the forum owner may have owned more DSLs than any other single individual on the planet. That may or may not be an exaggeration. Probably not though.

Hey dude. Welcome. Don't know how deep your pockets are for this hobby but the DSL40 combo is greatly improved with a speaker stock like a Celestion greenback or creamback

Yes, sorry - clarification. The DSL40 I got is a combo unit. Really happy with it so far and works for me with limited space - very nice to be able to leverage 2 channels and fx loop.
