Small Footprint Mic Stands For Recording Guitar

I'm looking to mic up my speaker cab using the Fredman Technique (two SM57's, one straight into the cone at a 90° angle, the second in a 55° angle) and I've bought a Fredman Clip to help keep the mics in this configuration.
However, I was first thinking of getting a mountable stand in order to save space and to minimize any risk of knocking the mics out of position, i.e. something like the Audix Cab Grabber. But then someone pointed out that these are just gimmicks that should be avoided due to the fact that they will pick up vibrations from the cab, which when I came to think of it does make a lot of sense.
So I guess I'm back to finding a fairly regular floor based mic stand and perhaps someone have some suggestions for one that can sit really close and not protrude too far out from the cab? Perhaps even one that can sit behind or next to the cab and go over and/or around so to speak?
Also, the Fredman Clip doesn't come with a "swivel" attachment so it screws directly onto the stand/boom so perhaps I need some kind of swivel attachment as well in order to get it into the correct position, so any suggestions on that front are also very much welcome.
The Fredman Clip can be seen here:
