Audio Interface For Recording 3 Amps Simultaneously?
I want to be able to record my Wet/Dry/Wet rig (3 amps) through an audio interface to my PC using 2 microphones on each speaker cab. So I'll need an interface that can handle 6 microphones simultaneously. Does anyone have any suggestions for a really good audio interface suitable for the job?
GUITARS
• Epiphone Les Paul Studio - Ebony (2001, Korea) heavily modified.
• Epiphone Les Paul Standard - Iced Tea Burst (2022, China) stock gear.
AMPLIFIERS:
STEREO WET
• Two Hughes & Kettner Vortex Black Series, 100W heads.
• Two Hughes & Kettner 4X12 cabs with Celestion Rockdriver Jr. speakers.
MONO DRY
• Orange TH30 head.
• Harley Benton 2X12 cab with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers.
• Victory V4 "The Kraken" preamp pedal.
PEDALS
• Dunlop - CryBaby GCB95
• Electro Harmonix - Green Russian Big Muff Fuzz
• TC Electronic - Vortex Flanger
• Boss - DD-500
• Boss - RV-500
• Boss - EQ-200
• MXR - Talkbox

these are supposed to be really solid and easy to use units, has 8 mic pre amps so more than what you'll need

Every decent small mixer with USB should be able to to the job. Depends a little bit on your expecatations regarding "really good"
I am using a Mackie pro-fx 12 for recording and if I would need better mic preamps I would consider an Onyx console or something like the Allen & Heath ZED 14
