Man, I've been revisiting this album and it really was fucking fantastic. Everyone knows about "The Way" and "Out of My Head", but damn near every single song on the album is just catchy ass rock n roll. Dare I say one of the best rock albums of the late 90's.
Phrophus and I caught them live with Toadies a couple years back (for FREE) and I fell in love all over again; they straight up kicked ass live.
I honestly don't know if they ever did anything before or since this album - it's the only one I've ever had/heard.
Anyone else dig?

I found this on the 99c bin when Wherehouse Music was on the way out because I love The Way. Turns out the album is KILLER!
I actually love the last two tracks: Nowhere Road and Sweetwater, TX.

It's a weird coincidence that when VH1 showed the one time Bands On The Run, TX band Flickerstick, who won the competition, were just talking about Fastball when they got to play the same venue as they are, and how those guys kick ass live.

Ha hell yeah, I remember that Bands on the Run show. That Flickerstick band was pretty sweet!

I love them. Fellow Texans too.
They played at a free show on the river in San Marcos (where I go to school and work) a year or two ago, I was bummed that I missed it.

I was going to post that I only knew The Way, then I clicked and watched Out of My Head and realized I've heard that song approximately infinity billion times somehow.
