Super bummed to hear about this yesterday. Martino is one corner of the perfect jazz guitar triangle for me with Grant Green and Kenny Burrell. He definitely made the most of his life, and was sort of on borrowed time, I guess. The fact he was able to return to form and even improve following the brain aneurysm / amnesia, he's always been an inspiration that I can learn anything I set my mind to.

RIP Pat.

yeah man no doubt . He was a true monster player and innovator . Few guitar players can cop his licks , without putting in many hours of work . A real master in the art . R.I.P.
