Bitwig Studio is THE BEST DAW!

Hi folks! Not much came up in a search so I thought I would make a quick post.
On my recent music production journey I've gone from trying Ableton Live, to a groovebox, to a tracker, and now to Bitwig Studio.
Bitwig Studio came about after some Ableton Live developers decided to break out on their own. It could be considered a rewritten modular architecture or next-gen version of Ableton Live. This software is more powerful and easier than most EVERYTHING, including $3k+ hardware workstations. It's modern, rock solid stable, and I'm getting <3ms latency under Ubuntu Linux with the Liquorix kernel on an old dual-core i7 laptop with 8GB RAM.
All the Bitwig builtin instruments/devices and instrument samples sound great for my music. I'm only using Bitwig instruments/devices, Addictive Drums 2 (with LinVST), a Novation Launchkey Mini MkIII, and my Line 6 Helix Floor or HX Stomp and Variax Standard for music production and eventually live performances (with live drummer). I may add a Launchkey 49 MkIII when they come out. The Novation SL MkIII is another good option. EDIT: See DriveByMoss controller extension.
For each song, I'm working on creating live performance versions within the Clip Launcher (grid) and arranged distributed versions within the Arranger. The end goal would be where I can play a song live with lots of preset switching automation going on, but intervene at certain parts to extend a jam.
If you're looking for a new DAW or new to music production then definitely check out Bitwig Studio. There's a lot of enthusiasm for this DAW and every few months there is something new.
