Anyone know of any hard rock or br00tz bands that use 12-string guitars exclusively? Bonus points if a 12-string bass is involved also.
I was thinking about this earlier and it's something I'd love to hear. I'd think it could sound absolutely massive

I definitely can't think of any band that uses them exclusively. I'm actually having a hard time of thinking of any songs that use them at all. Jeff Ament and Dug are the only two bass players that I can think of to use them in that context.

Hmmmm, no. I know a number of guys use 9 stringers (Matt Pike, think one of the guys from Mastodon sometimes.) but not 12. Wait....
Actually Brent in Mastodon has one he uses sometimes.

Not 12 string, but this thread for some reason reminded me of the clip at the 40 second mark.

Word, I'm wondering if there are any hard rock/metal bands out there that ONLY use 12-string guitars though.
Two guitarists with electric 12 strings and a bassist with a 12 string bass would be insane.
Think of the "hang on gotta tune up" sessions
