New combo amp
Hi.
I've been borrowing a Fender Mustang I I for a couple years and I love it, I just think it's about time to let him have it back. I don't know anything about amps, hence why I'm coming here for advice on what to get.
I'm just a bedroom player and don't intend to gig any time soon so I don't need anything stupid, but I really like the size of the Mustang and the power it puts out so Im not sure id want anything much smaller.
I always use the presets on the Mustang so anything with that kind of feature would be cool but I think an amp without preset tones would help me learn a lot more.
I always use aux and 3.5mm headphones, so as long as there's separate input im good.
I'm very limited and inexperienced with pedals, have the line 6 DL-4,digitech distortion factory and morely tremonti wah.
I know this is a lot of information but if anyone can recommend the kind of thing I'm looking for it would be much appreciated. Like I said, i know nothing about amps, I think Orange look awesome and Marshall are a classic but that's as far as I can go.
Thank you

For bedroom, I'm going to suggest yamaha thr10, amp, music player, and can hook you up to your pc (comes with software). Great little bits of kit.

What's your budget?
What genre of music do you play? Name a song or album that you'd like to sound like.

KATANA!!!
Seriously, I love mine. Katana 50. There is also a Katana 100 available if you need more power.
Or you could check out the Mustang GT amps if you want to stick with Fender.

Welcome to GAB, Chris! I'll second the THR suggestion, and recommend to have it up around the level of your shoulders or higher when you play. Katana is also a great suggestion. Outside of that, maybe a Fender Blues Jr, a Pro Junior, or a Super Champ X2 if you'd like to get some tube tone in your life.

Re: New combo amp
Thanks everyone for your replies, really wasn't expecting this much so soon so it's really appreciated.
I know most people say this but i really play a bit of everything. I'm big on blues rock at the moment so playing a lot of Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Kaleo, that kind of sound. My favourite band is Alter Bridge so obviously a lot of them. Recently started playing some Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave so Tom Morello's style. Bit of Zach Wylde, Chilli Peppers, really across the board.
Budget I think i'm looking at about £150 roughly, no more than £200
I'll definitely look into that since it was so recommended, thank you.
I'll make sure I look at all of these thanks

With all the katana love around here, I'm suspecting most of you have neckbeards...
