Awesome!!! I spent almost half the money on my Hi-Tone Hiwatt DR103 clone but, I bet it will sound beastly with a quad of $300 Harry Joyce tubes!

Hi-Tone are pretty nice. How do you like it? You might just like our tubes in your amp

Turbo- You can view our classic models at https://HarryJoyce.com. We will be coming out with the next generation amps later this year (but are not shown on our site) with some great new developments. We should have some videos and clips soon on the new models. You can always look up Black Crowes & Jimmy Page live at the Greek on You tube for example as well as others. We do have a real basic recording on our channel, but it was done on a cell phone, so not great...

My banker told me that I qualify for a second mortgage, so I might be interested in one of your amp heads.

Money well spent.... In addition to the new heads, we will be coming out with a new combo that will be available in a 30 watt and 50 watt and we are also working on a new Bass amp.

Looking back on some of the conversations (in reference to the relaunch thread) from 1 year ago.

Contrary to some opinions, Yes, we are still very much in business and we have not gone belly up. I thought I would address some of the comments.

1) Hiwatt clone. As some of you know, Harry Joyce introduced point to point to Hiwatt and made several improvements. With the switch to pcb, Harry left and eventually went on to build his own amps, making an additional 18 improvements. Enter George Scholz, who some of you probably know and many consider "Harry Jr." ,went on to make an additional 21 improvements, while working alongside with Harry until his death in 2002. So we are far from a clone and think we stand on our own.

2) Pricing. Yes, there are many amps out there for a lot less (and more) and many are great amps and to each it's own (opinion and wallet justification). Our amps are not for everyone, but we consider them to be well worth the investment. Our amps are made with the best components available, some of which we have invented and manufactured when we could not find it or we were not happy with the quality out these. We feel our amps are worth every penny and are built to last and perform.

3) Servicing. Obviously, older Harry Joyce amps can and have been serviced anywhere. We do not recommend this, as we are the best place to have these serviced or upgraded and strongly suggest the amps be sent to us, the official Harry Joyce.

Until we have a factory training program for outside shops, we request all repairs or servicing of Harry Joyce amps, pre-amps, slave amps, combos, bass amps, pedals etc. be done by us to stay under Harry Joyce warranty.

4) Dealers. Up to this point, Harry Joyce never had dealers and were built directly for the customer/pro. We are exploring working with a few select dealers in key geographic markets (Worldwide) so customers can take one for a spin.

* We are also looking to set up a few demo sessions in key cities. You can follow us on twitter(@HARRYJOYCEUSA) or email us for the latest events and model info as it becomes available.

5) Options. Up until now, we have only done a simple Black Tolex and that was all that was offered (came in any color you like as long as it's Black..) We can offer almost any option you like and can offer custom mods. We are considering a new look for some of our models.

6) We will never do the huge volume of amps some companies do, that's not our goal. Our drive is to make the best amps on the planet with respectable production. We have spent over a year improving the classic models and developing our new ones. Creating our own custom transformers, tubes and components that meet our high standards. We think the hard work will pay off and the market will decide were we are in the amp standings.

Hopefully that answers some of the questions. Happy to answer any others

If you want a brand new, Dave Reeves amp, Hi-Tone is as accurate a reproduction as you can get. It's the only amp that never gave me a moment of buyer's regret.

Good job replying to the other posts in this thread! GAB is known as The Den of Scum, among other forums, and you maintained your dignity under fierce scrutiny.

Good luck and I look forward to trying one of you amps if and when there is a demo on the NYC area.

Thanks Ajax. We will definitely be doing something in the NYC area with a dealer and demo event. Keep us on your radar. I think you will be impressed once you try one.
