Damn, it is REALLY good. Lots of killer guitar and drum work. I didn't think they would deliver their most metal as fuck album since A Predator's Portrait without Peter Wichers in the band, but they did.
Oh, and I have only finished listening to the first disc. Yep, it's a double album.

Epic, I need to get this. Ola and Peter are probably the biggest influence on my metal technique; been following them for years.
Ola Frenning is still in the band, right?

Nope. Ola got replaced by Sylvain Coudret (Dirk's bandmate in Scarve) in 2008 or so. Peter Wichers then came back for one more album The Panic Broadcast, which is a good disc. He bailed AGAIN last year, and now one of Speed's buddies in one of his other bands has replaced Peter. Sylvain is a really killer guitarist, so I think it's justified for the band to continue.

Damn I never realized Ola didn't play on the Panic Broadcast
the replacement guy is a good fit!
I wonder what ever happened to Henry Ranta; that guy was an awesome drummer. Obviously Dirk is one of the bast evar, but still.

The last I recall, Henry did some session drums for that Nuclear Blast All Stars project that Peter Wichers was involved with a few years back. Other than that, he hasn't done much of anything that I can tell. I think he's got a wife and kids, and metal don't pay bills haha!
I should also mention that after listening to each disc, there are some songs on The Living Infinite that are of the more "pop" variety, but a majority of the heavy songs recall their early material in some ways. They will never top Chainheart Machine since that album is METAL as fuck, but the new one is definitely a top notch release.
