No, I haven't seen one in person yet. I did get a CR-6 though, and I think they will feel very similar. I do plan on getting one, one day!
They don't make that one lefty, its a special run
But I did find a couple places that still have the lefty banshee. I'm thinking it or the ESP EC1000. I need to play both to see which neck I like the best.

Found the Reaper, and its a cool guitar. But it felt a little neck heavy. Why do schecters feel neck heavy? Is it the tuners.

Maybe the neck is not set as far into the body as other brands? I havent really noticed it. My C7 is kind of like that a bit, but it is 26.5" scale, so I figured that is why.

Sometimes I wonder how they stay open honestly. I used to like GC much more than Sam Ash, but it is flipped the last few years. GC has next to nothing anymore. I bought a TC Electronic Third Dimension pedal there a month or so ago, but I think that was the first thing I had bought in a couple years.

Yea GC is over a billion in debt. The other GC like samash is huge, but this one was right there. I have to drive thru the crappy city to get to the other ones. Oh well.

Got me a 4x12 cab, and am going to do a pedalboard. Since I don't need volume like that, i'm looking at the Foxgear and Quilter stuff. I'm running the Dime into the cab, but it needs volume to sound good. You guys try the Foxgear?

What 412 did you get? I picked up a cheap Peavey XXX 412 cab a few weeks ago. I haven't had a 412 for years, and been using 212 cabs, so I figured it was time since I have the space. I would like another one or two also, lol. I will probably customize the speakers in this one first though.
I have never heard of Foxgear.
What about a Mooer Preamp pedal and a Baby Bomb?

Its a B-52 LG. This guy had one in like new condition, and said I could have it for 100 bucks. I couldn't resist lol. I figured I could change out the speakers or whatever. I was looking at the Mooer stuff today. Not sure what to get next. I wasn't expecting to buy another cab, it just happened. I've just been doing combos for the last few years. But damn, nothing beats the sound of a 4x12

Aren't the XXX speakers based on Vintage 30's?

I have read they are based on V30s, but either a wider mid spike in the upper mids, and I have also read V30 with the high end presence of a T75.
This video I found I think sounds pretty close. You can hear the upper mid fuzz compared to the Recto cab.

I never did either, but I found one really cheap ($140) used cause it had some tears, and a quick search I found people saying it is the best sounding Peavey cab, and built very good, so I figured I would grab it.
I tightened up all the screws, on the speakers and all inside, and threw some weatherstripping on the beam cause it vibrated against the back, and it is pretty solid now. I am curious about other speakers, but it don't sound bad, just very different than my other cabs.

Yea, this cab stock sounds good enough for my needs. Nowhere near the Mesa or Marshall cabs I've had. But since I just play for fun now, good enough lol. Since I got this cab, i've been looking at heads. Maybe i'll just get a head again. A mini EVH or 6505. If I get SS, then some kind of Randall, or the H&K Vortex black. Maybe a Peavey XL head. I always liked them better then the XXL.

Could do a Katana head. I like mine. A 5150 III 50W would be killer also.

Oh yea, I keep thinking about the Katana. I'll look this week, and decide on something.

I saw where Sweetwater had the Mk1 Katana Head on sale for $279.
I have had mine a few years, and it is a pretty cool amp. I don't use it a lot, but it is definitely a great little package. Use the software to dial in 4 sounds you love, and then don't mess with the software again if you want Plug-n-Play.

My thing is this. If I make 4 great sounds, and want to play louder one day. Do I have to rewrite everything for the extra volume? Cause it might sound great at lower volumes, and have too much of this or that at higher. The core sound is still saved at one volume, but I can just turn knobs to add or take away anytime right?

I guess it depends on how you make the sound. When I made mine, I had the basic TMB EQ set close to noon (well, more like 2-10-2 oclock, but close...), then I shaped the overall tone with the preset EQ, which can be a 4-band parametric EQ or 10 band graphic EQ.
Doing this, I still have a lot of room on the TMB controls on the actual amp. I just turn the knobs if I happen to find it too trebley that day, or too middy, or whatever. I dont re-save the sound for that, but just leave myself room for adjustment.
Also, you can actually save 8 sounds. There is a second bank you can access, so make 4 sounds, and then copy the 4 sounds into the second bank, and tweak those for high volume.

Alright, cool. Out of all the modeling crap I played, I liked the Katana and Positive grid heads the best. For the price of course.

Found an open box quilter 45 on reverb for 116 with free shipping. I should have it in a few days. At the moment I still have a Digitech TL-2 pedal, so i'll use it for distortion. I was digging through this box in my closet and found it still in the box. I thought I got rid of it
Now i'll look at either a multi effects unit, or something like a Tech 21 flyrig.
