No, I haven't seen one in person yet. I did get a CR-6 though, and I think they will feel very similar. I do plan on getting one, one day!

It has probably the smallest neck I have ever seen! Even thinner than my Banshee. It is very narrow, and very thin. Like, my tiny hands feel like a giant on the neck tiny. Gives me an impression of how Vai feels on an Ibanez, lol. However, it still has a roundness to it. It is not flat like an Ibanez.

I love that schecter has the C shape necks. They are my fav feel. Man the Banshee was real thin to me, I can't imagine thinner!!!

I kinda want one of those Charvel DK24 2PTs also. The neck is a little wider, but they feel great overall.

Get it too
I got to play the PRS 24, and thats not a bad neck at all. It didn't feel "wide and flat" like they describe it.

Scott, didn't you say the Black winter is basically a more balanced distortion?

*waves* I have a Katana now.

Man which Katana did you get? I'm still thinking about it.

The 50. It's my living room amp, so the extra features of the 100 didn't seem worth it.

I have a Katana Head. It is a very cool amp. I haven't been playing mine much lately, but I did update it to Ver 3. I have the GA-FC with it also.

It is kind of like an Invader/Distortion mix that has been tweaked for clarity and tightness.

I want to hear the Thrash factor, but no reviews on it. Guess nobody fell for that gimmick

Traded in the Peavey Transformer I had for it at GC like a year ago. Bought one of those cheap Artec 2 button footswitches for it.
It's a great little amp, for sure. Could stand a speaker swap, but the cab is so small I dunno if it would be a big change, or what would fit.

I was going to get the Katana head, and just use the built in speakers for a while. My thing is the ocd tweaking factor. I will always think I can get the sound better

You guys ever had a swamp ash guitar? Both the Schecter Reaper and Banshee natural have that body.

I find I do that less on the Katana since you have to plug it in to the computer to change the settings. Most of the time I just turn it on and play. I fidget with the settings on my Axe-FX II WAY more since I can dial it in right there on the panel.
I actually went the other way this week... lol. Found a Peavey Triple XXX for a good price, so I decided to grab it. Always kinda wanted one of those.

I have not owned one, but have played many. It seems like they can be super light, or boat anchors, so it helps to try in person, or buy from somewhere that lists weights. The Banshee Elites I played were heavy as hell. I still haven't seen a Reaper in person.

This ^^^
I bought a Swamp Ash LP - thinking it was going to light.
It was close to 10 lbs. - so there are definitely differences between individual pieces.

I played a Triple not long ago. It sounded great. I also never thought about the Randall Nuno amps when they came out, but man they sound great. I was impressed.

How do you like it? I keep seeing conflicting reports on those.
I have a few of those Mooer Preamp pedals, so I assume the preamp sounds are probably similar.

It's a great sounding unit, the Tone Capture is amazing. Most of the negatives I've seen are about the price and from blues guys.

I have heard metal clips of that thing, and it sounded great.
