Randall X2 head and warhead stack for the win!! So yummy I gots three of them. My drunken Dimebag impersonation always makes me laugh when I fire up that wall. Loves me some solid state.

I had the first warhead, but had to take it back. The clean channel had distortion in it. I wanted the X2, but they stopped making them

I'll have to try one out, and spend some more time with the marshall code.

I got rid of the XXL, and have been looking for a new amp. I love the sound of the Victory Kraken, and the Randall Diablo. They both sound great. I still can't find the Randall RGs to play in person. Not sure what I'll get yet, but I don't wanna spend a lot of money. I'm not playing clubs, so I really don't need a $2000 stack. I can't blow money like that anymore, i'm not a teen living with mommy now lol.

That thing doesn't sound bad at all! I like it better then the 6505 piranha. I also really like the Roland Blues cubes. Great cleans, and take pedals well. I'll have to look into that Joyo.

I still like the new ENGL pedal demos best, out of the new distortion pedals coming out.

That Mark is pretty nice. Quilter has a new poweramp pedal coming out that looks great. I saw that Gibson put out a bunch of lefty guitars. Even Jackson and Charvel put some new ones out :beavis:

I just saw a few more vids of that head, and man it does rock. It might be one of the best SS heads made.

ISP also has a power amp pedal coming out.

Actually, it's a full amp. The preamp is totally clean, so you don't have to worry about line level preamps or instrument level stompboxes.

I need to buy another amp soon. I'm tired of playing the guitar without. Boring.

hey gents.. always been supporter of the ss rigs but now officially in the fold- even though im largely just using ss for solid cheap beefcake power amps.

currently using an old ada b200s and a fender stage for interchangable live rigs and running a tech21 leeds out front as a pre.

really been into that theta amp of late and may end up going that route. anybody tried the crown xls 1202?

I don't think i've ever tried any crown stuff. I always used Mosvalve power amps. I do like the Quilter power amps. I also saw an article where Frank Gamble said he prefers SS now. Suprising.

There's a big thread at TGP on this. Cool as long as you're good with the limitations. I just bought a used AA3 for just a little more.

The GC at my house didn't have the Boss Katana line. I'll have to try the other GC, and Samash. I like how the Katana has all the Boss distortion pedals in it. You can put the amp on clean, and just run a metal zone. A Demo I saw, it also takes distortion pedals well. The 50 watt might just be the perfect under my computer desk amp. But I wanna try before I buy.

The 100 watt head is very tempting, having a 5" speaker for late night/quiet jamming is a nice feature when you can't but out the big cabs. I have pedals that cost more than this amp, an incredible bargain. I feel certain one will end up at my house eventually.
