Deluxe adds mid pot, more power, bigger cab.

There are non plus Princeton and Deluxe versions as well. They have less power.

Radiohead used a Fender Eighty Five paired with a Shredmaster.

Man that's tough to guess, there have been many different models over the years or even variations of the same model

The Stereo chorus came in a 2-10 and a 2-12 format, with separate power amps, IIRC. They had a 1-12 with chorus too?

I think Fender was calling all their SS combo amps a Princeton of some sort.

How long ago? J.A.M. from the 90s? Or later Fender amps with DSP from the early 2000s.

rock flag and eagle wrote:Oh yeah, I had one of the M80 chorus heads back in 94 (a tolex one but the ugly carpeted ones) , used it in my ska punk band. Cleans and chorus sounded great, drive not so impressed but I also probably didn't know shit about dialing in good tones. After that band, I got rid of the half stack and got a Princeton Chorus combo, I think it sounded the same and I probably couldn't dial in a decent distortion tone.
I wouldn't mind picking up an M80 head again and trying it once more.

The M80 is great for 80s tones (obviously), it does hard rock and metal of that era quite well:
