Just listened again. When you hit the SD-1 it just fits in with the core tone so damn well. Still my favorite boost pedal I own.

I took it to practice today and it sounded amazing. Probably the best tone I've had like ever. Just perfect. I don't even think I need a lot of delay/effects with this amp. It has the natural 3D thing that the old Marshalls have.

Damn, dude. That sounds great. Perfect chime and punch, with that slightly juicy attack.

That sounds incredible, man! Definitely one of the best tones I've heard from you, which is saying a lot.

Thanks guys! Yeah this amp hits all the right marks for me. That's the tone I've been chasing all my life

I still want another 50w plexi though. I really regret selling the 1987X I had. Although I'm liking the idea of buying these clones and have them worked on voiced for me. It's cheaper to do it that way and the quality/price ratio is amazing. I have about $1500 total in this amp, between the cost of purchase and repair/tune-up, which is crazy considering how good it sounds and the fact that it is a handwired PTP amp that will be very easy to service and maintain in the long run.

I've been going back and forth between the SD-1 and the Nobels ODR-1. I will probably end up keeping both on my board for different flavors since I can't decide which one I like best
