Good entries so far. I believe we have roughly two weeks for entries. So plenty of time for everyone to post their rigs!

Some good stuff put up by Rock Flag and Eagle. Love that Mesa combo setup.

Thank you! I like your Mesa combo setup as well, as heavy as their combos are, I like gigging with them.

The CEOwl has entered the contest! That's a good looking rack, Billy!

So if you are running stereo fx with two combo amps is that admissible in the combo category ??

I’ll probably just stick to my twin but I have been playing around with both my amps

Unfortunately we’re only doing one amp per rig. Maybe next year I’ll open it for stereo. Didn’t even think of that this time.

All good, my D is a lot cooler than my W anyway

Also, you’ve got my vote for half stack rig so far

You are too kind, good sir. The main cab I used with ithr Metro for the longest time has Creamback 75s in a 2x12, but honestly it just looks right on the Marshall cab. And I’ve been digging Greenbacks more lately than the Creambacks.

Yeah he did! I love his caveat in his post too. Super classy. Beautiful setup though. Wish I had that lol.

Question about mulitple category entry.

I've got two setups that I use.

1) Egnater + Helx for FX

2) Egnater/Quilter + Helix for both preamp and FX

I use the same cabs/guitars for both.
Is it ok to enter 1 in head/cab and 2 in modeling?

I use 2 2x12s. How many are allowed per entry?

Let me get back to you on those. I don't have an issue with the first rig, but the second rig we're trying to keep it to one amp per rig, at least that's been my understanding.

Hey Kyle, for the 2nd rig, it would have to be one amp so I would suggest just the quilter in that case. I have ZERO issue with you reusing the Helix in both rigs for their separate purposes and there's not a limitation on cabs. We've had full stacks in this contest before. I think next year I'll set up a stereo rig category.

Sorry to be clear I was just stating those are the two ways I use it. Probably would have just done the Quilter anyway just as you're suggesting.

Thanks boss. :thu:

You guys have some nice rigs! No category for SS amps this year?

Historically I don’t think we’ve ever had SS amps as their own category but they’re definitely welcome in the categories they fit! Actually the budget section is where I’ll be putting my GX130C Rig.

For sure man. I didn’t expect to have some of the questions come up but thanks for bringing them. I think for next year I’ll look at expanding a bit.

Thanks :)

Might take more pictures that include the board but we’ll see. The amount of fandangling it took to get those photos makes me want to just leave it lol.

It’s an ES-335s (solid). These were only made for a few years in the early 80’s and then again under the firebrand series. It’s loaded with 57 Classics and I love it haha.

There's a budget category? :hmm: Might be time to break out the Peaverty Stupido Poor with the TC Dark Matter and my $250 flying V. That's also small enough to haul out of my messy ass studio room and set it up somewhere clean.
