I know i'm not the only one who likes the Scissor Sisters.

I fuckin LOVE this album. It's like really really good 70's era Elton John stuff. There were practically no "live" instruments on the album. All the drums are programmed, most everything else is direct-in with a lotta post-production. Really good songwriting; aside from them turning 'Comfortably Numb' into a techno dance song. Which still works, but it takes all the feeling out of it. (see what I did there?!) Which honestly is the point.

...and that video is probably just about the gayest thing I've ever seen. LITERALLY.

Nah man, solidarity. I've been through some pretty big Dead kicks over the years although I only listen to Phish occasionally (If we're talking Trey, I vastly prefer Oysterhead). I like a few other jam bands too although I'm pretty picky about them.

As long as we're confessing, I really like Florence + The Machine.

Grateful Dead's Workingman's Dead and American Beauty are favorites of mine. I really like Phish's Billy Breathes album. I love Regatta de Blanc by the Police.

I don't see these as confessions, but they might not be typical for GAB, especially considering that I'd rather listen to everything below than any Ozzy album, Van Halen album, or Metallica album. I'll just stop there.

David Bowie
Brian Eno
Roxy Music
Guapo
The New Pornographers
Grizzly Bear
The Antlers
Sufjan Stevens

I think its a good song, one of maybe two Nickelback songs that are actually listenable.

I listen to pop music sometimes...and enjoy it.

Yup...

To redeem myself, I also listen to heavier shit than Kings of Loins or whatever Mike Moriarty's name is here... (actually I'm lying)

I love everything though, classical, jazz, classic rock, bluegrass, country, alternative, top 40, metal...I mean, there's tons and tons of good music out there...The people who write off entire genres are missing out on good stuff.

Have everyone beat. While in Highschool I was big into king diamond, anthrax, and metallica but also had most of abba's stuff as well. And the clincher... I once let an ex girlfriend talk me into taking her to see donny osmond. There I was leather jacket and an Yngwie concert t listening to donny... uuuuugh!
