I'm getting the MS-70CDR, but I'm only getting it for delays. I'd get the G3 if you want to switch between presets. The MS-70 does have a bunch of new effects that are not found on the G3. Wait until after NAMM to see what's new.
I know a few people who are pretty happy with their Mustang II amps. Don't know anyone with the Super Champ X2 head.

Got this monster last week. Sounds awesome, specially at high volumes, but it does great at practice volume too.
I wonder if the Fender Super Champ X2 would do well with de 4x12? It would be interesting to diversify the tones to play at home.

Nice. I always liked the KH.

How similar is the KH120 to the other SS Randalls released at the time?

From what I remember, it was like the RX amps, but with more gain. I played both, and liked the KH better. But that was a while back. I see Gibson is releasing all their guitars Left handed this year, and Jackson has three new Leftys shipping in February. All Fender did was a non relic Cobain model. How lame.

At the moment, I'm happy with both my guitars, and my amp sounds good with pedals. So I'm really thinking of getting either a Digitech RP500, Mustang floor, or a Line 6 HD. If I get a multi unit, I might as well get something decent.

That tele looks sweet. I saw a demo of the new Line 6 amp, and its something I could care less about. I'm not a fan of using my comp as an amp, all these portable amps, and all these ipad amps.

Rocktron has two new rack preamps. Check the end of the video. They have a 1590A Hush coming. Someone should A/B it with a Mooer Noise Killer. I have some Mooer NAMM stuff to post later as well.

That peavey vypyer pro might be decent. I saw where kustom and laney have new ss amps also. That boss me 80 looks like the 70 with dual modulations. Really nothing exciting.

One person described the Warp 7 to me as a tigher and less dark VH140.

I had a Warp 7 for a while. It was tight with a darkish recto thing going. It was also really bassy. I believe it was aimed at Nu Metal players. Thru my Recto cab with a rack EQ, it rocked.

I just had the head. The speakers in their cabs and combos, were way too bassy. Gape, Zoom released this, but it looks like the same ole.

Wonder if the new Digitech has better sounds then the others? Probably the same in a new package.

Hey...since this is a SS thread.
Any ideas on what makes a SS amp good?
And before someone come here saying that no SS sounds good, let's just remember Dimebag, ok? ^^

Same thing that makes a tube amp sound good: the player.
That digitech thing sounds interesting. Being able to loop something while you adjust settings so you don't have to keep tweaking and playing back and forth could be a handy feature.

I personally dislike digital amps.
Cascading FETs make SS sound good.

One thing I like is how SS sounds the same every time. I never knew with my tube amps how they would sound day to day. But I do love the sound of tubes at ripping volumes
