hahaha.... same.... Hell Itchy got my vote in the Head/Cab rig because the smexy Les Paul and beat up Marshall Cab lol... and well... the Henning amp didn't hurt either.

Dude, my Metro stack NEEDS a beat up Marshall cab. Checkerboard grill cloth preferred.

I did my GGF civic duty and voted. Is it acceptable to say who you voted for? Probably not but I will anyway.

Best head cab - Very tough category, probably the most hard fought of all the BOTR categories. Hats off to all the brave warriors doing battle. Anyway, after much thought and a couple of sleepless nights, I went with Marc. Why? I love a bassman and p-90 LP's.

Best Combo - Itchy because Space Echo and Jr.

Best Studio - I started to enter this one but I figured a recording rig consisting ONLY of an iPhone probably wouldn't win. Loop has this one covered but I went with an underdog and chose Ajax.

Best Bass rig - Marc's Tele bass was hard to ignore but i went with Itchy and the Pittman, in honor of the old grouchy man.

Wet/Dry stereo rig - After much thought, I "Diocided" to choose Diocide.

Best budget rig - I'm sorry, any way you slice it, a rig consisting of a Matchless, a Dr Z and a LPC is NOT a budget rig. This category needs to be re-vamped. Duncan is my hero for trading like a pro but I went with Yarbicus.

Best large pedalboard - I chose Duncan and his big-ass board.

Best small pedalboard - This was a hard choice but I went with Marc's board. Its hard for me to ignore anything that includes the words "tape echo" prominently displayed.

Best modelling rig - Indy

Best rackmount - CEOwl

Maybe next year we could have a best live rig category, which must include vids of the rig out in the wild on a stage, where we can hear how it sounds and judge each other's sexy stage moves. So if your rig isn't really great you can make up for it by having an awesome pelvic thrust. Just a thought.

Thanks for the feedback man! Great reasoning for all this stuff. And yeah... we'll be revamping the budget category next year. To be fair... that LPC is a Greco. So not a Gibson by any means. Maybe use the Reverb price guide tool and see where gear lands in a range of +/-$100 or something of the current used value (based off sold listings, not active hoping to get stupid money listings). FWIW I also voted for the Valve King and Panama cab there.

Yeah man, I've said this before but for a few years I bounced between Pittbulls and other amps. It was literally, sell a PB, buy new amp, keep new amp for a few months, buy another PB  I think this is my 4th and I've just decided that I'll will not be selling it. Sometimes I get the itch for a 100watter but then I just have to open up the 50 a bit and that goes away. Best $800 I've spent on an amp

Listen. My bass rig is clearly the bast.

Also, what’s not budget about a Matchless and a Dr Z

Tight race in the Head/Cab between Itchy's Henning and Marshall cab against ej's Pittbull, with the Henning edging out the lead. This is good stuff. Itchy has all but taken the combo rig this time. Indy is leading the Modeling Rig and the CEOwl's ENGL rack is killing it in the Rack rig section. Race was close in the Multi-Amp, but Duncan's Mrak and Badcat setup has pulled ahead. Yarbicus's Valveking underdog rig is rocking the Budget setup. Bass rig is going to the Hi-Tone, proving you can't keep a good rig down. Also Ajax's studio is edging out Loops. Duncan also has a solid lead in the Large Pedalboard rig and Marc G is leading small pedalboards. Still time to get the votes in, but this is a cool set of votes to watch. Everyone that played brought some heavy hitters to each category. Excited to see who wins what. Looks like I'm shipping some strings to Canada and Trinidad so far.

Not gonna lie.... we have some bad ass rigs floating around the forum, and I know this isn't the half of them......

They usually have a few on GC used. That's where I got two of mine. Both for around 7/800. The 100 watters are usual up around a 1k

There's a 212 combo on there that has been up for a long time and I want it hahaha
