Shiner Bock is the only Texas beer that doesn't taste like piss.

lone star is not quality, of course. its owned by pbr (both owned by the russians, now anyway) btu its got a lot more flavor than a lot of budget beers. we dont drink it with our pinkies up, son.
and with one of the best craft brew scenes in the country, i'd say that's a pretty dumb thing to say.

yeah we dont ship em to brownsville, if thats what you mean lol

im sure dave would argue that it exists outside of austin. places like seattle are why i said "one of". which after reviewing the data, was pretty dumb on my part. you guys are 8th as far as breweries, and tx is 42nd (though i dont understand the rankings, which were labeled as if by qty, since 15th place VA has only 2/3 the craft breweries) but the statement you made was still ignorant as fuuuuuuuuuck


interesting to note and in no way pertaining to this argument: WA twice the breweries, TX almost 3x the ouput. of craft brews, mind, not the giant bud facilities, etc.

CO is 4th, by state, but again, im not quite sure what the rankings mean. they are supposed to be production rankings (and they are per capita, which makes a difference)

I like it, relatively speaking. It's German, but I used to drive through Shiner all the time going to my Grandparents. It's spitin' distance south/east of Gonzalez.

That split leg guitar joke reminds me of a true story.

An older guy I knew was really bald on the top of his head and none of the so called "medicines" had worked. So he asked his doctor if there was anything he could try at all.
