Anybody try Ableton Live 11 yet?

Post by ibenhad »

I see it's out and am very curious. I have been using Reaper forever as my primary DAW. I have messed with Ableton Live 10 a little and it seems perfect for the electronic stuff I do. Thoughts?

This is my future too, moving to Ableton from Reaper. Though the more time I spend on Reaper the less interested I become in making a change. I've already come this far lol

But I do think the day will come when I have to. Especially if I actually start incorporating the in the box stuff into a live performance. Ableton will become essential at that point.

The Live aspect is really the only reason to even think about switching IMHO. Ableton Live reminds me a lot of ACID with a more usable performance function.

Yup. I'm holding off and sticking with Reaper until the day comes, which will likely never happen  , where I'm performing my techno tunes live.

If I ditch ProTools, I'm definitely getting Luna.

When Ableton updates they lean in hot and heavy and deep enough to strike oil.
