BTw: You guys ever play NUX pedals? They are pretty decent. Quiet and not too bad sounding. I got a delay to play around with, and will probably get the promod model next. It has the 8 effects in it. I wouldn't play clubs with em, but good enough for the bedroom.

Tons better then most SS distortion. I'm still really tempted to get an AMT P2. I really like the sound of the demos. Heavy, but not raspy.

Welcome back to the dark side. :%
Good to be back. HC got so boring. When they said "we're going PG" and you have to sign up for OJ and PP, I said screw this crap.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Oh well, I'll keep playing my P1 until the RG gets released.

If I was still a tube geek or in a band, I would get the Randall 100 watt diavlo head. Those amps sound killer. I was fine with the crap I have now for the last year and a half, and now Randall and AMT have given me gas again. And they have the head in 300, 150, and 100 watts. One for all needs lol. The only thing that stopped me from getting the AMT stonehead, was that they ran out of black, and just had green left. Some good choices out now.

I use the EH 44 Magnum and the 22 Caliber. As backups with Hughes & Kettner Red Box D.I. Units on backup pedal boards at gigs in case the tube amp goes bye-bye. Two cables switched and I'm back on-line in 4-5 seconds.

Max Morton's demo of the P1 totally sold me. I absolutely want one.

All my dirt is now on the pedalboard, although my main "JCM800" dirt still comes from a 12AX7. All the rest is SS now, and my amp is an incredibly clean SS Yamaha 1x12 combo from 1978 with a ported extension cab.

Haven't ordered anything yet. Thinking about waiting for the Randall heads to come out. I would hate to blow money on pedals, then really like the Randalls.

Raf, the -2 series has a clean channel built in. That seems to be important to some folks.

Grab an EQ, which lots of dudes already have, and you've got your tone shaping.

All I want is a fiddy plus/II. That's it, I swear.

Except for a decent bass amp. And maybe a thirty inch scale nine string if I'm feeling limber. And a Whitebox 2x12 with Swamp Thangs. And a better case for my V. And some more microphones. And a new computer for recording. And some better mic pres and interfaces. And. . .
