Steinberg UR242 into Reaper
So I've used the 242 into Reaper with a single mic going into input 1 for a long time and don't have any issues. Now I'm trying to plug a 2nd mic into input 2 and can't get a signal from input 2 in Reaper. I downloaded some UR242 software so now I have a control window and can see that it's getting the signal on both inputs but I can't find any settings in Reaper or in the UR242 software that's helping any. The idea is to be able to send each mic to it's own track in Reaper. If that's not possible with what I have then it would be helpful to at least get both input signals going out to Reaper and I can mix in the 242 controls. Any ideas?

Now I feel like a dummy.... right click over level meter for input selections. Duh.

Meh. I've hit walls with Reaper before to find out the solution was right under my nose too. It's not the most intuitive DAW for sure.

My favorite DAW comedy was the other day just after manually looping an 8 second clip into a 4 minute track, ever so carefully pasting the clip just at the right spot so as not to have any overlaps or gaps, and doing it around 30 times. The moment I was done my finger made an accidental click that revealed to me that all I had to do was grab the end of the track display and drag it to the right for however long I wanted the loop to be. Literally a single fucking click to do all that work
Hey but now I know. Cost of education I guess.
