Got the quilter, and it works great. Now i'm looking at ESP ec1000s. I think they are my best bet for another LP type guitar. I want one of the T versions, since they are full thickness. Also looking at the Tech 21 PL-1. We'll see what happens :rawk:
BTW: I have been using this, https://www.stewmac.com/Materials_and_S ... Cloth.html
and it works great.

Not feeling the speakers in this cab. They are bassy and muddy sounding. I have been looking at new speakers, but don't want to spend 400+ on them. I could get another cab for that. But I don't want cheap crappy speakers like the Rocket 50. I found a guy with 4 70/80s for $120. But they sound a little harsh. Next to the V30's, I like the sound of the creamback 75's, and the Eminence GB's. Maybe I can score some GB's used. Makes me wish I had just kept my Recto 4x12. I loved the sound of that cab.

Since Avatar is having a sell, I think i'm going to get some V30's for my cab. I just got a MXR 10 band eq, and it rocks.

I thought about getting the 4 pack of V30s also. I just got a G12T-75 from them this week, and paired it with an old V30 I had in my closet for like 12 years, lol. My old 212 cab sounds much better with the EVH III 50W I got a few weeks ago, then my cabs with Eminence speakers.

I kind of want to get some more speakers, but kinda paranoid about the current economy also. I did buy a ton of stuff last year that I haven't spent a ton of time with, so I could be happy with just learning some of the old rack effects units and such I bought last year. I am just not sure it makes sense to buy more stuff at the moment.

I have always wanted one of those MXR EQs. I have had Boss EQs, but not the MXR. I was actually thinking about ordering one of those cheap Fish and Chips EQs, just to have a second one like my Boss.

Sold my XXX and JSx, went all hybrid. Tube preamps and SS power amps.
In order of my favorites: Rocktron Plexi, Kartakou Collossus, Hafler T2, Rocktron Gainiac.
Power amps are 260 watts bridged, and the sound when cranked is God like.
Really happy with these rigs. Pop

I stacked my 212 on top of my 412 last rehearsal and loved it. Quilter tone block for each cab. Helix LT and shure wireless were on the floor.

I'm using Art SLA-1's. They sound great with these preamps and are relatively inexpensive.

Yeah, there are a lot of great SS poweramps out there these days. I have a Matrix GT1000FX that I mostly use with my Axe-FX II. I also have an ART SLA-2 that I used a lot before I got the Matrix. It sits in my closet now. I need to find a new use for it, lol.

ART is still around, but only really make studio gear these days. They don't really make specific guitar gear.

It seems like Rocktron is fizzling out and didn't actually come out with half of the things they planned on releasing. They were selling a few $800 tube preamps for $300 recently.

Which is sad, because if they just took the old Intellifex and Replifex units and modernized them by putting them in Strymon type pedals, they would probably do pretty well.

Yeah, this is crazy. I have never seen anything like this. Luckily I work from home, so nothing has really changed that much for me personally, but the rest of my family has changed.

I bought a Fish and Chips EQ the other day with a coupon, so I spent as little as possible, lol.

The EQ works, lol. Does what it is suppose to. I had one many years ago. I mostly got it because I am getting sick of carrying my GE-7 back and forth between different rigs, and this was a cheap way to have more than one. The sliders are not as sensitive as the Boss, but that just means you have to move them more extreme. It was only $24, so why not?

It looks like the "Shipping and Handling" on the one speaker I bought was $12.

This stuff is crazy. I see more people out walking than usual, lol. However, roads and stores looks deserted. I know here, they are saying it to get worse. They think the worst will come in mid to late April.

I find myself looking at pickups again. I have been looking at Dimarzio. I have like 7-8 different Duncans, so maybe I will grab a Dimarzio. I have always wanted to try a D Sonic, so maybe I will order one once companies can ship again.
