This is what I'm playing (not a picture of the actual amp; just one I found on the old internet). It's a surprisingly awesome sounding amp. Clean Channel, Dirty Channel and a Lead Boost as well. Does everything I need and sounds fantastic.

Re-birth of Randall ... What's up with that? did someone else buy them out?

Thats good. Randall stuff (IMHO) has always been quality, as far as SS amps goes. Perhaps there'll be other goodies on the horizon.

Nope. I've sold two Randall heads, still have a combo...

I have 2 Acoustic Control Corp 150s. They both need some work, but they're also about 40 years old. They're pretty damn awesome.

Sure, not like most of the SS amps usually mentioned I suppose, I like them. :)
Main Guitars: Gibson SG Classic, Agile AL3100, Fender Blacktop Telecaster
Amps: ACC150 (x2), Peavey VTM120, JCM600, Peavey Bravo, Yamaha THR5
Cabs: Mesa Halfback 2x12, Peavey 1810, Randall RS125CX

My old RG100ES just rips with a boost. I bring it to band practice all the time and sometimes prefer it to my Mesa Boogie, just for the all out aggression it has. It kinda responds a bit like a tube amp in a way, as it sounds it's best at band volumes... it smooths out, and warms up when it gets louder, and it's just as powerful as any 100 watt tube amp, if not louder than most.

I had an Ampeg vh-140c that was pretty cool too, but very death metal sounding, while the Randall sounds thicker, clearer and more like a jcm800.

After years on HC, they have been dumped!!! Its great that this place is just like old HC. And yes, I can't wait to try the new Randall amps. I heard one demo, and it sounded great. Tons better then most SS distortion. I'm still really tempted to get an AMT P2. I really like the sound of the demos. Heavy, but not raspy.

I played the head one time, and the clean channel was really nice. I wanted to buy it, but had no money at the time. Isn't that always the way it goes?

Are they even selling the RG3003H? I've seen them only on Gearhounds. I really want to try it.
