First I would like to thank Jerevil for helping me.
The problem was that my interface was not up to par. I got a Scarlet Solo 2nd gen and it works great. I'm definitely getting bettor tones from the presets, I haven't created any new ones or imported yet, I'm going to dive into that rabbit hole eventually. The question I had was that there are so many audio levels, interface output, monitor output, helix output, that I'm trying to play with a track through Reaper and the volume is kinda low. So, what do you have your levels at?
Interface 100% output, computer audio output 100? I am tracking through monitors for the first time and running Reaper and VLC audio at the same time, I know its a learning curve, but some tips would be appreciated.
BTW I have been stuck using the Uber amp on helix, oh maw gawd. Its beautiful.

Re: Helix Native
Do you have any drum software? What I normally do when using Native or just tracking guitars in general is import my drum track first and then increase my guitar levels til is matches the drum track volume roughly. Input level on the interface is usually just before it clips/red light blinks.
You can see my settings below in Reaper and Native when I messed with Native a little while back... I never mastered Native, and barely took the time to really understand it... so I'm def no expert on it. I just messed with it til I got a sound I was after and left it at that lol.
Good luck dude!

Re: Helix Native
Glad it’s working for you!
I love Native. I used it on the Dunky’s intro and on the new Helix Heavies intro as well.

Re: Helix Native
I finally got my 5153 to work with WOS, this weekend I'm going to try to run it through Native with the amps sim turned off. Lets see how that works.
