1) Welcome to the best guitar/amp/effect forum on the web!
2) What kind of builds/mods do you do? Is it a hobby for you? A side business? Your main line of work?
3) Presumably you play as well. What kind of gear do you use? What kind(s) of music do you like to play?

Re: Fookin new guy!
LMAO!!!! I do it on the side... Extra $$... I play through a Bugera 333so that I missed for more gain and installed a variable resonance on it as well... Sounds like a cross between an Engl and a Mesa... Seriously... FOOKIN HEAVY! Lol! I've built a couple 6V6 high gainers (in a gain whore) and I've modded a buuuunch of Boss pedals... Particularly SD-1 and DS-1.. The SD-1 has a touch more gain and I lowered the corner freq. To like, 320 Hz... It passes soooo much more bass when you are boosting... Tone no longer sounds anemic.... But, I must say... Since I modded my Bugera, I no longer need a boost... At all... Well, unless I'm boosting the crunch channel... It has slightly less gain than a Peavey Triple XXX but waaaaaay more than a JSX... (333so = JSX... 333 = Triple XXX)

And I've probably repaired or modded at least 70 amps if not more... Rough conservative estimate...

Welcome to the fold brother - this is the best guitar/amp forum on the interwebznet!!!
I started learning amp repair and have been building up a head of steam to buy an o-scope. They make o-scope software and interfaces for cell phones now! Amazing!
Looking for recommendations so, if you got any, I'm collecting opinions.

I see that you have a lot of projects in mind right now but how to achieve them if you are alone to work on it.

Sounds like you need to build a handmade reactive load box to go with it.
