I have no idea. I've never done much with them other than cleaning the heads often. I have had the entire guts out of the box it sits it, but would not know what to look for unless you told me. I had the one with the bad power supply worked on by a friend who charged me about what the power supply cost. J

Interested for historical purposes.
I'll see if I can dig up a pic and post it here - but basically, there's a scabbed-on compressor board starting with the EP-3's.
It sits above the main circuit board - kind of an afterthought from the looks of it. From my understanding, not all EP-3's even have one.
